Keep Calm and Carry On 1939 T-Shirt — Original Wartime Poster

Keep Calm and Carry On was a real 1939 Ministry of Information design — but not the Blitz-era mass slogan later popular culture turned it into.

This S&W Gallus T-shirt uses the famous crown-and-type treatment as a piece of documented British home-front history. Around 2.45 million copies were printed, but the poster was held largely in reserve and was not widely displayed during the war.
