Sword Beach Coordinates T-Shirt — British D-Day 1944

Sword Beach, 6 June 1944. This coordinates design marks the easternmost of the five main Allied landing beaches.

British 3rd Infantry Division landed with supporting commandos, armour and specialist units, while 6th Airborne Division held key ground and bridges to the east. The objective was not simply to secure the sand but to open the route inland toward Caen and link with the airborne flank.
