Rorke’s Drift Coordinates T-Shirt — 22–23 January 1879

Rorke’s Drift, 22–23 January 1879. This design uses the battlefield coordinates as a restrained marker of one of the best-known actions of the Anglo-Zulu War.

The defence followed the British defeat at Isandlwana and involved a mixed garrison centred on B Company, 2nd Battalion, 24th Regiment of Foot. The point of the design is the place itself: a real crossing, mission station and battlefield in present-day KwaZulu-Natal, not a generic military slogan.
