Vimy Ridge, 9–12 April 1917 — one of the defining battles in Canadian military memory.
During the Battle of Arras, all four divisions of the Canadian Corps attacked together at Vimy Ridge and captured a position that had resisted earlier Allied attempts. The victory came at heavy cost and later became closely associated with Canada’s developing national identity and remembrance of the First World War.
We chose the ridge and coordinates because the ground itself matters. This is not simply a generic “WW1” shirt; it points to a specific battlefield that Canadians, descendants and visitors still travel to understand today.
