Pegasus Bridge, Normandy, 6 June 1944.
This T-shirt represents the airborne assault on the bridges over the Caen Canal and River Orne in the opening hours of D-Day. Pegasus Bridge became a symbol of precision, nerve and the importance of securing key ground before the main landings began. We chose it because it is one of those places where geography and history are inseparable: a bridge, a small objective on a map, and an action that mattered far beyond its size.
The monochrome sketch and coordinates give the design the feel of a field note rather than a souvenir.
