This design marks the Allied landings on D-Day, when troops came ashore across five beaches and opened the campaign to liberate Western Europe. We chose Normandy because the coastline is still one of the clearest examples of how terrain, planning and individual courage can shape history, and because the beaches and cemeteries remain places of genuine remembrance.

The monochrome shoreline artwork and coordinates keep the design about the place rather than turning D-Day into a generic slogan.
