The Warrior IFV was deployed with British forces in Afghanistan during Operation HERRICK, providing protected mobility and fire support in a campaign where roads, tracks, compounds and open ground could all present different problems. Its distinctive low silhouette became part of the visual landscape of British mechanised operations in Helmand.

We chose the vehicle in silhouette because equipment can anchor a memory of a campaign just as strongly as a place name. The design is intended as a piece of modern military history for veterans, families and vehicle enthusiasts, without implying personal service in a particular vehicle or tour.
