Goose Green, East Falkland — 28–29 May 1982.

This design represents the battle fought around Darwin and Goose Green during the Falklands War, when 2 PARA attacked Argentine positions across exposed ground on the isthmus. We chose Goose Green because it became one of the best-known land battles of the campaign and because the geography — open peat, settlements and long approaches — is inseparable from understanding what happened.

The weathered battlefield treatment is deliberately restrained, keeping the focus on the place and the history rather than using loud veteran slogans.
