Goose Green, 28–29 May 1982 — the battle for the Darwin isthmus.
The battle was fought across exposed ground on East Falkland as 2 PARA advanced against Argentine positions around Darwin and Goose Green. After hard fighting, the Argentine force in the area surrendered, securing the settlements and making Goose Green one of the best-known land actions of the Falklands War.
We chose a weathered battlefield treatment for this version because the landscape was central to the action: open ground, limited cover and difficult South Atlantic conditions. The design remembers the place and battle without making false claims about the wearer’s connection to it.
