Gold Beach was one of the British landing beaches during the Normandy invasion on 6 June 1944.
The landing area formed an important part of the Allied effort to establish and link the D-Day beachheads. This design uses a vintage-style landing scene with the Gold Beach name and coordinates, giving the shirt the feel of an archival location print. The aim is to represent the place and its historical significance without turning the subject into novelty military artwork.
