This design represents the live-fire training carried out by British troops in Kenya, where wide training areas allow artillery crews to practise the coordination, drills and teamwork behind the guns. We chose it because artillery is as much about the crew and the process as the weapon itself, and the Kenyan setting gives the subject a distinctive identity.

The vintage training-poster style keeps it rooted in place and service culture rather than presenting a generic explosion graphic.
