SW GALLUS SHIPPING POLICY
1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
This Shipping Policy (the Policy) governs the shipment and delivery of goods purchased from the SW Gallus online store. By placing an order, the Customer agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth herein. We reserve the right to amend this Policy at any time to reflect changes in logistics, carrier requirements, or statutory obligations.
2. ORDER PROCESSING AND DISPATCH
Order processing occurs during standard business hours, excluding weekends and public holidays in England and Wales.
Processing Lead Times:
Orders are typically processed and prepared for dispatch within one (1) to three (3) business days following receipt of payment.
Shipment Confirmation:
Upon dispatch, the Customer will receive a notification via the provided email address containing a unique tracking identifier.
Service Availability:
While we endeavour to provide global coverage, we reserve the right to refuse service to specific jurisdictions due to prevailing logistical constraints or international sanctions.
3. SHIPPING COSTS AND METHODOLOGY
Shipping charges are calculated dynamically at the point of sale.
Calculation:
Costs are determined based on the total volumetric weight of the shipment, the destination address, and the selected service level.
Heavyweight Goods:
Due to the premium, heavyweight nature of the cotton used in our garments, shipping weights may exceed standard apparel averages, and costs will be adjusted accordingly.
Contract of Carriage:
Our responsibility for the goods terminates upon delivery of the consignment to the carrier. Risk of loss passes to the Customer at this point.
4. DELIVERY TIMELINES
All stated delivery windows are estimates provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed.
Domestic (UK):
Estimated delivery is 2–5 business days following dispatch.
European Union:
Estimated delivery is 5–10 business days following dispatch.
Rest of World:
Estimated delivery is 7–21 business days, subject to regional infrastructure and postal efficiency.
5. INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS: DUTIES, TAXES, AND CUSTOMS
For orders delivered outside the United Kingdom, the Customer is considered the 'importer of record'.
Import Liabilities:
CONSIGNEES ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL IMPORT DUTIES, CUSTOMS FEES, AND LOCAL SALES TAXES. SW Gallus exercises no control over these levies and cannot predict their value.
Compliance:
We are legally obligated to declare the full transactional value of all goods on customs documentation. Requests to undervalue goods or mark them as 'gifts' will be summarily denied.
Customs Clearance Delays:
International shipments may be subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities. We shall not be held liable for delays resulting from such administrative procedures.
6. NON-DELIVERY AND INCORRECT ADDRESSING
The Customer is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the delivery address at the time of purchase.
Undeliverable Packages:
In the event a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address or failure by the Customer to collect the item from a local sorting office, a re-delivery fee will be applied.
Lost Consignments:
A shipment is not classified as 'lost' until the carrier’s maximum delivery window has elapsed. We will investigate missing parcels with the relevant carrier before initiating a replacement or refund.
